A Privilege to be with a Soldier Who served the Nation

 

 

No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the Military for 20 years or more, risking their lives protecting your freedom, and only get

50% of their pay on retirement.

 

While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive Full-Payretirement after serving one (1) term.

It just does not make any sense at all.

If each person who receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people will have the message. 
This is one proposal that really should be passed around. 
I passed it on!

First P-8I Lands At Home Base Arakkonam

Big day for the Indian Navy and Boeing! The first of eight P-8Is (Tail No. IN 320) will land shortly before noon today at the INS Rajali naval air station in Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu (the 'ARK' on the aircraft's tail denotes the place). The second and third aircraft will be delivered in August and November this year, with the final five to arrive across 2014-15. The aircraft is the first that was delivered to the Indian Navy (in Seattle on December 20 last year) and is being flown by a full IN crew.

 Air Chief Marshal Fali Major had posted a photo of the Mountain top marking at Leh of the IAF Badge and motto

 

The Indian Air Force logo you see on the hillside is painted every year just prior to Air Force Day, by personnel of Air Force Station, Leh. It's a fun morning climbing the mountainside to the IAF logo site, which is at an altitude of about 14,000 ft! I remember leading the gang up in 1999, when I was AOC, Leh.
